Maryann Kirschner

Maryann Kirschner, a healthcare professional with over 30 years of experience, has held leadership positions in areas including hospitals/health systems, reference laboratories, information technology services, outpatient services, and more. She has transformed healthcare through strategy development, financial evaluation and planning, compliance, risk management, business development, and process improvement throughout her career.

 

MaryAnn formerly served as the Vice President of Hospital and Ancillary Provider Projects, where she leads complex client implementation projects. At K2 Healthcare Consulting, MaryAnn acted as the Chief Executive Officer, where she provided consultative services throughout the United States and specialized in operations, safety, processes, compliance, accreditation, revenue cycle management, reimbursement rules, and regulations. She held similar roles at Chestnut Hill Hospital, Tenet Health System (St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children), Abington Memorial Hospital, and Temple University Hospital, all of which included the management and implementation of systems that improved healthcare efficiency, quality, and patient care.

 

In addition to her strong leadership and operational background, MaryAnn specializes in technology and software applications, including EPIC, Cerner, Meditech, McKesson, and eClinicalWorks. With over 30 years of experience, Ms. Kirschner has led multiple full-cycle EHR implementations, including at St. Christopher’s Hospital, where she provided strategy, design, and project management for the conversion from Cerner to Epic. Noted for her on-time delivery of successful projects, MaryAnn led multiple projects at Kennedy Health, Abington Memorial, and Temple Health Systems.

 

MaryAnn holds a Master of Business Administration from Eastern University. Her ultimategoal is to improve healthcare, reimbursement, safety, and compliance.
